Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin shells of procelain that are bonded onto your teeth to give you a beautiful, custom designed smile. Porcelain veneers can straighten, repair chipped teeth, lengthen and whiten teeth to provide a desired smile and bite. For the majority of patients, porcelain veneers prove to be a perfect solution.

When placing porcelain veneers, we pay close attention to the patients surrounding teeth and design each veneer to complement the overall smile. The result is a beautiful, attractive new smile that looks completely natural.

Procedure

The porcelain veneer process usually takes only two appointments. At the first appointment the teeth are shaped to be ideal foundations for the procelain veneers. This entails removing a thin portion of the outer enamel, to allow space for the porcelain. Impression are then made to serve as a blueprint for your new veneers. Using our color templates, you may choose the color that you desire for your new smile. You will leave that day with with provisional acrylic veneers that will resemble your natural teeth.

During your second visit to the office, we will proceed with the placement of your final restoration. The final step in this process will be to permanently bond the new veneers onto the tooth. The veneers are super strong and will feel and look like your natural teeth, leaving you with a beautiful improved smile.
