Whitening/Bleaching

Over time our teeth tend to become discolored or stained. It may be due to smoking, tea, coffee, red wine or from medications.

We offer a safe solution to an unsightly smile. Whitening your teeth is a very simple procedure that can be completed in relatively short period of time, using our DayWhite ACP bleaching tray procedure. A "Beautiful Smile" is easier than you think.

We are proud to partner with the worlds leading professional tooth whitening company. Our DayWhite bleach with ACP (Amorphous Calcium Phosphate) is clinically proven to rebuild tooth enamel during the whitening process-leaving your smile whiter, glossier and younger looking!

How Safe is Bleaching?

Research has proven bleaching to be both safe and effective. The American Dental Association's seal of approval has been given to a wide range of tooth whitening products.

Generally, the only side effect from treatment may be some sensitivity to hot and cold foods. If this occurs, sensitivity normally disappears within 48 hours.

How do I know if I'm a candidate for bleaching?

Bleaching may not be effective in all cases. That's why it is important to seek professional advise from a Dentist to determine if bleaching is right for you. We will inform you as to the potential whitening for your specific situation.

Procedure

The first step in the whitening process is to take an impression of your teeth. These impressions serve to make custom bleaching trays. The trays will fit onto your teeth perfectly and feel very comfortable.

Our take home trays provides convenience for you. You pick the best time of day for your use. Simply place a small amount of bleaching solution in the trays and wear them for 30 minutes, twice a day. We recommend that you only bleach the teeth that show, when you to smile. That's it.! Within days, you will see a significant improvement in the color of your teeth.

What teeth do I bleach?

Bleaching only works on natural teeth (not on crowns, Veneers or bonding). There is no need to do all of your teeth.

How often do I need to repeat the bleaching treatment?

You may need to do an occasional touch up from time to time if you excessively smoke, drink tea, coffee or red wine. You'll perform touch ups, only on an as needed basis, for a short duration. Perhaps every 3 months, for a period of 1 to 3 days.
